USOF Fund Policies
USOF has various funds to help with club development, mapping, and competition. This page lists the basic premise of each fund; go to the linked section of the detail page for more information on each policy. Funds are listed alphabetically.
new College Development Fund Policy — to promote the development of orienteering at the college level.
Competition Awards Fund Policy — to fund awards for USOF-sanctioned championship events.
E-punch Fund Policy — to provide funding for the development of and promotion of electronic punching capabilities in orienteering in the United States.
Funds on Endowment Policy — to conserve charitable donations and gifts to USOF through the Endowment Fund.
Insurance Fund Policy — to provide premiums for insurance coverage for orienteering events.
Junior Team Fund Policy — to provide interest-free loans and grants to aid USOF Junior Team members.
Map Funds Policy — to increase the opportunities for orienteering in the United States by providing financial assistance to encourage the production of orienteering maps.
Operating Fund Policy — to finance the day-to-day operating costs of the federation.
new Orienteering in Schools Fund Policy — to promote the development of orienteering within the educational environment.
Program Development Fund Policy — to provide interest-free loans and grants to USOF members and clubs to aid in projects to develop clubs, fund USOF programs, or general promotion of orienteering in the US.
Ski-O Fund Policy — to provide interest-free loans and grants to aid USOF Ski-O Team members.
Sponsorship & Marketing Fund Policy — to provide monies to aid in obtaining sponsors for USOF and its member clubs, public relations for the federation, and the marketing of orienteering in the US.
Team Fund Policy — to provide interest-free loans and grants to aid USOF Team members.
Trail-O Team Fund Policy — to provide interest-free loans and grants to aid USOF Trail O Team members.
